TECHNIX is a journey, a sea voyage that started a long, long time ago.

 

TECHNIX DISTRIBUTION owner and operator Earl Berry has spent a lifetime committed to his passion for all things wind and waves.

 

In the 80's he started BERRY SAILS, which at one stage saw him producing 70 sails per week.

He was also a member of the 1984 and 1988 NZ Olympic Team, winning a gold medal in the 1983 Pre-Olympics.

 

The 90's saw Earl create THE WINDSURF SHOP and later collaborated as a partner to set up BALLISTICS, an iconic store that still thrives to this day.

During this time he started an import/distribution company, and TECHNIX DISTRIBUTION was born.

 

In 1999 Earl teamed up with NAISH, the brainchild of water legend Robby Naish.

Since then he has added other quality products and brands to provide a complete service in the industry.

 

From the start, Earl has been at the forefront of introducing and establishing Kiting, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Foiling, and Winging in the NZ market.

 

He still carries the mantra ‘Every Day On The Water Is A Good Day.’
